    numerical hydrodynamics in the environmental sciences

    my lab develops and uses numerical approaches to study interactions among plants, flow processes, and the hydrological cycle. we study feedbacks between soil moisture and plant hydraulics on land and among flow velocity, sediment transport, and vegetation in river streams.
